About the conference
It is our great privilege to bring to you the annual Devoted Hearts Conference on April 24-25, 2026. Every year, God faithfully orchestrates all the details of this conference, and draws each of you here. As always, it is our commitment to bring to you a quality conference full of practical Bible teaching and powerful worship.
Our 2026 Conference Theme: "Be Still and Know"
In Psalm 46:10, the psalmist writes, “He (God) says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” What does it mean to “be still, and know that I am God?” Psalm 46 was composed in a time of crisis. In this verse, God speaks into the chaos, into the raging and tottering, and says, simply, “Be still.” These words are preserved for us today for our crises. Be still, church. Be still, wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, friend. You need not be anxious. You need not fear. You need not go into a frenzy to help yourself and save your family. Be still, stop striving, and know that he is God.
It is around this theme, that our speakers will teach and encourage. We look forward to welcoming back Bible teacher and author, Kelly Minter. Kelly’s Bible studies are favorites of many and help us dig into Biblical truths. New this year to Devoted Hearts are Sharon Hodde Miller and Faith Eury Cho. Sharon teaches about faith, culture, and the Bible. She is the author of three books, The Cost of Control, Nice, and Free of Me. Faith is a Bible teacher and author. She is fervent about sharing the gospel and encouraging women to experience friendship with God. Our worship time will be led by Dan Mansfield, a music teacher, composer and worship leader. He is passionate about combining congregational worship with intricate music, to praise God and make Him known. Join us in April for a weekend to “be still” as we focus our hearts and minds on knowing God and His Son, Christ Jesus.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
— Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
About Devoted Hearts
Who We Are
Devoted Hearts is the joint effort of women from several Rochester area churches. For over fifteen years, we have worked together to bring you these conferences. We believe in the unity of believers. We pray that this conference is an example of our common desire to see Christ exalted and His church growing.
Vision/Purpose
To evangelize to those who do not know Jesus as their Savior; to encourage women who are already saved to keep on "fighting the good fight" and to equip all women to open God's Word for their source of truth and wisdom in daily living.
What we believe
Jesus Christ: We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to Earth.
Salvation: We believe all are sinners, and therefore under condemnation. We believe in salvation by faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ through repentance and personal conversion.
The Trinity: We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Word of God: We believe in the authority of scripture and that the Bible is the Word of God, without error and written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
Christian Conduct: We believe that all Christians should live for the glory of God and the well-being of others, and that their conduct should be blameless before the world.
The Last Things: We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His Kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal happiness of the righteous, and the endless suffering of the wicked.
The Church: We believe in the universal church and that the local church has the primary task of giving the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world.
